If you are an experience diver, or going to take your OW license, or just scrolling through my blog, CONGRATULATIONS!! You are on the right track because I am going to go through this wonderful spot for divers to spend all 4 days 3 nights with absolutely no Wi-Fi! Yes, you heard me. You are forced to let go the internet, work, spouse, gf/bf and just enjoy whatever you have here. Trust me, you are not going to regret staying here, you are going to enjoy 100% with the nature around you.

 

 

WELCOME!

This is the beautiful Tenggol Island. It is located at Dungun, Terengganu! It took us about 5 hours drive to reach Kuala Dungun jetty. The boat ride will take around an hour to reach the island, so get some rest on the boat if you have boat sick.

During monsoon season, between October and February, Tenggol Island is closed to visitors. Most of the resort staff temporary move to the mainland to escape the severe weather conditions during these months. Therefore, please plan your trip ahead and enjoy yourself till the max!

I stayed at Tenggol Coral Beach Resort 月影湾の度假村 throughout the 4 days. This resorts is clean and spacious. The bed is also very comfortable. It has a small balcony for the biggest room (3 beds). Your room will be facing the sea. The downside about it that you will get salty water everywhere you go. You will drink salty water, bath with salty water, and wash face with salty water. However, you will eventually get used to it after the first day. Otherwise, you can buy the mineral water at the canteen.

If you are a big eater, fraid not. Tenggol Coral Beach Resort provides 4 meals per day. Each meal will fill your stomach with satisfaction every time you come back from a dive. They even provide you white bread with kaya and butter 24 hours. I ate a lot during the trip!! I am so sorry to my little stomach.

I would say Tenggol is one of the beautiful diving spots that I will recommend to my friends. A fun dive spot is perfect with good foods and good companions. We are not so lucky because we missed the whale shake on the day we left Tenggol. Yet, we managed to get a good view of a school of tuna fish eating small fishes while the small fishes eating the jellyfish. What an amazing food cycle!

P/S: I am not writing the pricing here because I got a special offer from them so I do not know what is the actual price. However, I guess it should be roughly in between RM1500 to RM1800. Good Luck, guys!
